A proactive HIPs service

As of 10th September 2007, all homes in England and Wales with three or more bedrooms need a HIP (Home Information Pack). HIPS include an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) outlining how to cut carbon emissions and reduce fuel bills, a sale statement, searches and evidence of title.

Under the new system, a property must have a number of key details made available to prospective buyers, all of which are covered within HIPs.

Until the end of 2007 it’s sufficient to commission a pack at the time at which the property is put on the market. This is set to change in 2008 when a completed HIP will be required prior to marketing any property.

As part of its effective conveyancing service, mosshaselhurst can ease any stress regarding HIPs, and unlike agents, we can act in both buyers and sellers interests, depending on who appoints us.

We believe it makes sense for sellers to keep HIPs and conveyancing ‘under one roof’ rather than use an agent (who you may find yourself tied to throughout the transaction) to provide the pack.

The way property is bought and sold has changed. Our expertise can help make those changes work in your favour with a HIPs service that’s nothing short of excellent.
